A 100% natural or 95% natural face cream is the same, isn't it?
To talk numbers, let's go back to school...
Many candidates are able to pass an exam at 95%, but very few pass at 100%. Finding the solution to solve the remaining 5% is sometimes an insurmountable task.
It is exactly the same for a 95% natural or 100% natural product.
And we go even further, 99% natural is not AT ALL like 100% natural.
Stop the teasing and start explaining. Behind these 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5% of "unnatural" ingredients, here is what is hidden:
(Very often) CONSERVATIVES!
Their role? Destroy bacteria to preserve the formula.
But in their fight they also attack the good bacteria on your skin, it's a shame...
Some examples of preservatives you won't find in a 100% natural face cream: Potassium sorbate/Sorbic acid, Dehydroacetic acid/Sodium dehydroacetate, Sodium benzoate/Benzoic acid, Benzyl alcohol (note that this last one is also a listed allergen, great performance!)
(From time to time) POLYMERES of petrochemical origin!
Their role? To thicken or stabilize the formulas.
But in passing they sometimes form an occlusive film on the surface of the skin. A smothered skin, not great!
Some examples of polymers you won't find in a 100% natural face cream: Carbomer, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylates crosspolymer, Ammonium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Sodium Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer
(And sometimes even) suspected ENDOCRINAL PERTURBERS
What is their role? They can have several roles: preservatives, sunscreens, bleaching agents, etc. They are the most perfidious, because they disrupt the hormonal balance, but their consequences are often only seen in the long term. The hormonal system is unbalanced.
Some examples of endocrine disruptors that you will not find in a 100% natural face cream: Triclosan, Salicylic acid, Benzophenone, Cyclomethicone
So how do we at Novexpert achieve 100% natural formulas?
- a patented innovation 0 preservatives + a factory with pharmaceutical standards guaranteeing products with 0 bacteria at the exit
- a requirement pushed to the extreme: more than 1000 ingredients not yet prohibited on the market but nevertheless dubious that we forbid ourselves!
- time to formulate differently and without marketing pressure!
- Hundreds of tests to find natural alternatives that are stable and effective. On average, it takes 4 years to develop a formula that meets our drastic charter, compared to 1 to 2 years in the cosmetics industry.
We therefore invite you to read the lists of ingredients (INCI lists). Many applications will help you. If not, go to one of the most famous websites on the subject: Que Choisir.
Your skin is 100% natural, so your skin care should be too!
